The idea of this dish I came up with the penne alla vodka

Ingredients

  • Rice 300 g (2 handfuls of rice per head plus one for the pot)
  • 2 lime
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable broth or a nut

  • 10 mint leaves
  • A glass and a half of white rum
  • 3 spoons or a bag of brown sugar
  • Shallots

Instructions

  • Put water in a saucepan and let it go over low heat with the stock
  • Grate the zest of one lime
  • Squeeze the lime and strain the juice
  • Rinse the Mint and finely chop
  • Mince the shallot and prepare the sauce
  • Toast rice for a few minutes
  • To pour in the rum
  • Continue to turn for a few minutes, adding broth when it dries
  • Add the lime juice and continue for another 5 minutes
  • Add the Mint
  • Just before turning off the heat and stir, add sugar
  • Turn and stir in a knob of butter
  • Serve garnished the dish with a few leaves of mint and lime peel
